February 28.   Titus 2

Paul reminds Timothy that how we live matters.  We need to say no to worldly desires and yes to what is right and good.  We need to have self-control and not allow temptations or desires to dictate what we decide to do.  Rather, knowing the truth we allow God to guide our actions whether we feel like it in the moment or not.  Sometimes living the right way simply comes from it being the right thing to do.  We may not always want to or feel excitement to do right, but we should always desire to do right because we love the one who tells us right vs. wrong.
