April 24    Revelation 19

There was celebration in Heaven described in Revelation 19.  We should be looking forward to a day where we worship and celebrate in Heaven.  In the meantime, we should be practicing our worship and praise.  We don't have to wait until we arrive in Heaven to praise the LORD.  We don't even have to wait until Sunday morning when we gather for worship to worship.  Daily there is reason to praise the LORD.  Daily there is reason to worship our God.  

There is a reminder that there is accountability for the evil that is in the world.  The King of Kings and LORD of LORDS will at the right time come and deal with all that is evil.  Those who are evil will be cast away into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.  There is something really important about the concept of Hell that we need to keep in mind.  Nobody is happy to be there.  Nobody who goes would desire to stay there.  Sometimes we imagine Satan as a red being with a pitchfork walking around a fiery place and being happily in charge.  Hell is not Satan's kingdom; Hell is his rightful prison cell for all of eternity.  There is no party in Hell, only misery.
