 Psalm 136
As we approach Thanksgiving Day it is good to take time to reflect on being Thankful.  Psalm 136 starts by talking about our need to be Thankful to God for who He is.  It did not start with a list of things he has given us to be thankful for, but rather actually being thankful that God is God.  The Psalm goes on talk about the great things that God has done for them as the nation and people of Israel.  There was a history of God working and taking care of them.  As we think about our own nation what do we have to be Thankful for when it comes to how God has worked and is working?  Remember, because God's love endures forever, we will always have something to be thankful for in our lives.
