February 23   2 Timothy 1

Paul was willing to endure through difficulties because he was convinced that God would work all things out in the end.  " because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until that day."  There is a certain level of confidence in Paul's faith that he is fully believing in the LORD.  He knew who Jesus was.  He knew who to put his faith in completely.  What he knew about Jesus gave him full confidence in the LORD to help him endure.  We too need to be certain in our belief in Jesus and convinced that he still takes care of his people today.  That confidence in the LORD is of tremendous comfort when our own weakness or the world's wickedness makes us feel like things are not going as they should.  Our confidence is not anything but the LORD himself, he has proved himself faithful over and over again.
