Praise comes from a heart of thankfulness.  Praise comes when we properly reflect on God and all He has done.  In this season of thanks and gratitude for what we have been given we should take time to reflect on our hearts and if we are giving God the proper praise.  Praising God with all of our hearts is more than just singing along to songs at church.  It is having a song of praise in our hearts even when we are not in a worship service.  A life of praising God with all of our hearts will seek ways to show him thanks and give him glory in all areas of our life and in all circumstances in life.

 The funny thing about Thanksgiving in America is that we go from thanking God for what we have on Thursday at Thanksgiving to focusing on what I want to get next on Black Friday.  Our praise and thankfulness to God cannot shift like holiday seasons in our culture.

    Thanksgiving is both a holiday in November and should also be a lifestyle of the Christian daily as we express our gratitude and praise to God each day.
